Scrap Fabric Christmas Tree Ornaments
If you are a fabric scrap collector (hoarder) like me and looking for a festive way to deplete your fabric stash this holiday season then look no further than these cute little scrap fabric Christmas tree ornaments. Below is a sample of the “Diva Collection” that my girlfriend Drew and I whipped up this weekend!
It was Drew’s first time sewing and what a great beginner project this is! I can’t quite tell what she liked more, sewing these little guys or covering them in sequins! I must admit that I am in love with the big green disco tree :)

Besides needing scraps of fabric/ribbon you’ll also want to consider some sort of embellishment adhesive. We used Gem-Tac by Beacon. For the hook hole we punched through grommets with a Cropadile but a needle and thick thread are great alternatives for hanging loops.
I find it hilariously ironic that Cliff and I keep making ornaments (his porcelain toy ornaments here) yet we have no tree to hang them on! Maybe that will be Wednesday’s craft….
