80′s Style T-shirt Craft
It just so happens that the 80′s are back in full force which has not only made neon shirts easy to find but also cheap. I don’t know about you but that equation in my house always amounts to an 80′s rock star craft! Of course if you aren’t into the 80′s you could just customize a shirt for one of your Van Halen obsessed friends (or in my case husband)…..
I found this electric pink shirt at a local shop and then used some Transfer Artist Paper to add Cliff’s favorite Van Halen song lyric plus a fun rock-star style photo of him performing as Sammy Hagar (see original photo here)! I couldn’t think of a better “Thank you for taking care of me while I was dreadfully dizzy” gift than a loud, obnoxious homage to the 80′s! Can you?
Doesn’t that kind of weathered picture of Cliff in spandex doing a scissor jump in a blonde wig make for a pretty awesome custom t-shirt? He likes it so much that this pink monstrosity may possibly replace the coveted Mod Podge T-shirt that Amy Anderson gave him 2 years ago! Only time will tell……
