You may have noticed from the last few posts that I’m trying to get more organized on the cheap which means swapping trips to the Container Store for scavenger hunts through the house (see Ikea Frame Hack Light Globe Hat Holder). This week I desperately needed to figure out an inexpensive cute DIY way to hang my scarves and belts. Who knew the answer to all my scarf hanging questions would reside in my crafty ribbon stash?

The sturdy cardboard on the ribbon spools can easily withstand the weight of scarves and smaller belts. Double them up for heavy belts and use some left over ribbon to tie them onto a hanger. I added a dot of hot glue to make sure my bows don’t unravel. Sure the spools leave some white paper behind but I think it adds character ;)

Craft On.
