San Diego Maker Place

We went to the grand opening of the makers version of Disneyland this weekend. It’s called Maker Place and they have everything a maker, crafter, artist, DIYer, creative person could ever want. I’m pretty sure Cliff’s eyes almost popped out of his head when we toured the 14,000 square foot makers paradise which had a wood shop, metal shop, electronics lab, crafting area, painting room, sand blasters, embroidery machines, sewing machines, screen printers, Oh MY! Here’s some quick shots we snapped while on the tour.

Maker Place is charging a monthly memberships (like a gym) and plans to offer loads of certification classes as well as  just for fun classes. We are excited to have this in San Diego and can’t wait to get more involved! Ohh the possibilities!
