80’s Style T-shirt Craft

It just so happens that the 80’s are back in full force which has not only made neon shirts easy to find but also cheap. I don’t know about you but that equation in my house always amounts to an 80’s rock star craft! Of course if you aren’t into the 80’s you could just customize a shirt for one of your Van Halen obsessed friends (or in my case husband)…..Van Halen, David Lee Roth, Cliff Currie, Handmakemyday.com, Might As Well JumpI found this electric pink shirt at a local shop and then used some Transfer Artist Paper to add Cliff’s favorite Van Halen song lyric plus a fun rock-star style photo of him  performing as Sammy Hagar (see original photo here)! I couldn’t think of a better “Thank you for taking care of me while I was dreadfully dizzy” gift than a loud, obnoxious homage to the 80’s! Can you?

Van Halen, David Lee Roth, Cliff Currie, Handmakemyday.com, Might As Well JumpDoesn’t that kind of weathered picture of Cliff in spandex doing a scissor jump in a blonde wig make for a pretty awesome custom t-shirt? He likes it so much that this pink monstrosity may possibly replace the coveted Mod Podge T-shirt that Amy Anderson gave him 2 years ago! Only time will tell……

Craft On.
